In May 2025, the continuation of the Japan Series with 6 cars is coming in wave A. The Datsun 280 ZX (J-02) and 2023 Nissan Z (J-09) have appeared twice in previous years, now for the third time. The Honda T360 (J-10) and Mitshubishi Lancer Celeste (J-11) were released "only" in 2022, so those who missed out on buying them three years ago now have a new chance. The last pair are the new additions to this series, represented by the new numbers Toyota FJ40 (J-24) and Mazda RX-7 (J-25), however, both cars were also released in the Moving Parts 2024 series.
In the fall, wave B will appear, featuring 4 "new releases" and 2 reissues. Among the previously released models in this series are the J-05 Toyota FJ Cruiser (released in 2022 and 2023) and the J-15 Mazda MX-30 (in 2023, both in Japan and in Moving Parts). The "new releases" in this series include the J-26 Toyota Prius Prime, J-28 Honda S2000, and J-29 Lexus LX (released in Moving Parts 2024), as well as the J-30 Mitsubishi Pajero, which is a new casting for this year released in the Moving Parts 2025 series. Interestingly, the number J-27 was skipped.
