Matchbox > 2025 > Moving Parts
The Moving Parts series remains the same in scope as last year. A slight change is seen in the numbering, as the Super Chase models now have their own series numbered 1-4, while the rest of the cars in the series are numbered 1-50. Wave A includes 5 models, with 2 new castings – 2024 Ford Mustang GT and 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the popular National Parks livery. Wave B contains 8 cars, with no duplicates. The models 2023 Ford Maverick and 2024 Lexus GX are new castings. Additionally, Wave B also randomly includes Super Chase 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302.
Wave C brings 6 models, including 2 new releases – 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and 2023 Toyota Century. Wave D also has 6 cars, plus the second Super Chase 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL. The only new casting in this wave is Land Rover Defender 130 in a stylish rescue livery.
While the previous wave included only one new casting, wave E brings as many as five! That's almost unbelievable. These are the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, Alpha Wolf Electric Truck, 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS, 1987 VW Golf MKI Cabriolet and 1991 Mitsubishi Pajero. Additionally, this batch includes the Lamborghini Centenario in a new gold color. Aside from one duplicate (the Porsche 718), it also features the 1962 Ford Anglia from the Harry Potter movie. This model was already released in 2024 but with different packaging, even though both versions share the same number 13 — a number that in 2025 is also assigned to the Ford Maverick.
There are 6 cars in wave F, one of which is the new casting 2024 Polestar 3. There are duplicates of the 1975 Range Rover and Audi Avant in the box, but since both models have a production variant of LHD/RHD or with an empty/full trunk, the orthodox collector can keep the entire box. Or even better, find the Super Chase 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo LS in it.
Wave G brings another six cars, including as many as five beautiful new castings: 2024 Ford Excursion, 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Folgore, 1963 Ford Thunderbird, 1994 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning and 1984 Rover SD1 Vitesse. As the year draws to a close, the final waves are always packed with new arrivals, and Wave H is no different. It includes five of them - the 2024 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro, Tesla Cybertruck, 2024 VW ID. Buzz, 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, and Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato. And then there's the Super Chase 1965 Land Rover Series II. Wow.
