The first five Matchbox Collectors 2026 Wave A models arrive in November 2025. The only new casting is the 2020 Ford GT MK II. Other models in great new liveries include the 1990 VW Golf Country, Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, Land Rover Series II and BMW 3.0 CSL. There are 6 new cars in Wave B coming in the spring of 2026. Two new castings are the 1990 Chevy Corvette ZR1 and the 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo Slant Nose. The remaining four are also great, and since the 2020 Chevy Corvette is also among the releases, you can see thirty years of development in the Chevy Corvette brand in one Matchbox wave.
May wave C brings 5 models, including one new casting. This is the Mazda AZ-1 Mazdaspeed model, as the exact name of the model on the base is, or the more commonly used designation Mazda Autozam AZ-1. The same model has already been released earlier in the basic series, but this premium one includes opening doors. Also in the box we find 2x Audi RS6 Avant, Maserati MS12 and Toyota Land Cruiser 76 and 1x blue 1968 Chevy C10. In the middle of the holidays, the last wave D comes in an interesting composition. Four cars from the Collectors series and four from the Matchbox The Movie Collectors series. Beautiful work, no repeats in the package. And in addition, 3 of the 4 models for "regular" Collectors are new castings - 1972 Datsun 240Z Rally (in the version with an opening hood), 1984 Audi Sport Quattro S1 and 2026 Bugatti Tourbillion.
