The first wave of 14 cars in the basic model line of 2022, has the x/102 series written on the long blister or Power Grabs box, but the short blisters are marked as x/100. The +2 designation refers to the two announced Super Chase models. The new castings in wave A are the 1949 Kurtis Sport Car and the Mitsubishi 3000GT.
The second wave B already has the same x/100 series designation on all packaging and brings 17 new cars, including 4 new castings - Porsche 918 Spyder, 1960 Chevy El Camino, 1936 Ford Coupe and 1965 Ford C900.
During June, the third mix C with 19 models appears. Among them are 5 new castings - Road Roller, Volkswagen ID.4, Opel Kadett Coupe, 2012 BMW 3 Series Touring and the Push'n Puller double-sided vehicle. There are also two bonus models in this wave. The first is a dark blue 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class, which has no serial number and is not limited in the number of units released. On the other hand, the chase model 2021 Ford Bronco already has a limited run, but it is still quite easy to get.
Wave D brings another 15 cars, with only 3 new ones - 1966 Dodge Charger, Tesla Model X and Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
In the autumn wave E there are 18 cars with 4 new castings - 1957 Ford Custom 300, Tesla Model Y, 2022 Renault Mégane and 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. Among the new castings, you can also count the Highway Maintenance Truck, which has undergone casting changes and the addition of a hook. And precisely because of its dimensions, it was the only model from the basic series not released in a Power Grab box, because it did not fit there.
The last sixth wave of F in 2022 introduced 16 models, including 4 new castings, namely the Audi e-tron, 2021 Citroen Ami, 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E and the recurring model of the Tesla car company, the Tesla Model X, this time in white. And you can also find the second Super Chase Porsche 911 GT3 - 2007. Unlike the first, it is also available in the Power Grab box.
If you read and counted carefully, you came to the total number 99. There are 96 basic series models in this number, one bonus and two Super Chase. So 4 cars are missing from the full 100 pieces in the basic series. The slot 012/100 is not occupied at all in the series. Models in positions 038/100 Rivian R1T and 081/100 ´18 Toyota 4Runner were released only with the first wave A of 2023. The last in full number is 008/100 SpaceX Dragon, released even in the fall of 2023.
The three models released in 2023 were distributed only in 2023 packaging. In addition to the discussed cars, 4 models from wave F of 2022 were also released in new year packaging in wave A of 2023 - Ford Mustang Mach-E, McLaren Spyder, Dodge Charger Pursuit and Citroen Ami. Interestingly, all of them were without serial numbers on the 2023 packaging, which is a logical step. With the small exception of the Rivian R1T model, which has a serial number.
