In 2008, the Euro Edition series was released, which can be considered a continuation of the Stars of Germany/Cars series that ran from 2003 to 2007. It appeared mainly in Germany and its nearby Western European neighboring countries. The series consists of 12 vehicles, not limited to German manufacturers but featuring brands with a strong presence across the European continent. The ratio of licensed to unlicensed models is exactly 50%. The models feature specific paint schemes representing various European countries. Unlike the previously mentioned series, this one focuses more on construction and utility vehicles. Exceptions include a police BMW 328i in an unusual design with an orange stripe and a DAF XF95 Space Cab truck in light green. Both models are also among the most sought-after in the series.
The packaging follows the layout and pattern of the basic 1-75 series models, with the addition of the Euro Edition logo. On the back of the card, all 12 models are listed—some with different names than their standard titles, such as “Delivery Truck” instead of “Hiway Hauler.”
