Number 1 in the new 2026 Moving Parts series is immediately taken by a beautiful new addition – the 1964 Porsche 911. The other six models from Wave A are not new castings, but they do come in new color variations. The second Wave B includes another batch of seven models. The new castings are the Ford Bronco Raptor, Lexus GS400, and Lexus IS500 F-Sport. Collectors with a passion for Lexus cars will definitely be pleased – there are three Lexus models in the first two waves of 2026, including two brand-new castings. The first super chase model Porsche 356A was also supposed to be part of the wave. Maybe it was, but in minimal quantities, that's why the first few pieces sold for incredible money, because it was not known what the situation was and some collectors did not want to be in a situation like with the chase model Range Rover 1975 from 2023, which was released in an extremely small edition and is still hard to find or for huge amounts. Later, however, the Porsche 356A began to appear in more significant quantities with wave C.
There are 5 cars in wave C, including two new castings - 1994 Lotus Exprit 300 Sport and 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S. On the other hand, wave D is packed with 7 additions, in which we will find 2 new models - the legendary 1977 Pontiac Firebird and the yellow Acura Integra Type S HRC, which will certainly be very popular with collectors. And to top it all off, lucky winners in the fourth wave can find a super chase 1984 Rover SD1 Vitesse in a fitting British police scheme.
In the box of wave E there are traditionally 8 cars, but only one 2x - it is also the first new casting, there are a total of four new castings in the wave. This is the 2024 Toyota Yaris GR Rally model. Another novelty is also a Toyota from the 2024 production year - the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series in an interesting Ambulance scheme. The Arabic inscription on the model means Matchbox. The third novelty and also from 2024 is the McLaren GTS. The last in the party is the Subaru Legacy RS from 1993 in a nice racing design. The sixth wave, mix F, clearly the best package of this year. Five new castings! And one better than the other - 2025 BMW M5 Touring, 1986 VW Vanagon T3 in the National Parks scheme, 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R, 1991 Acura Legend Coupe, 1947 Dodge Power Wagon. The new castings complement three no less successful models with a new scheme. And as a highlight, the super chase 1978 Ford Bronco. So the distribution of 9 cars in a box for 8 slots.
If the previous wave was the most successful, mix G can easily be called the most unsuccessful. But maybe how for whom. In addition to two new castings 1992 Dodge Viper RT10 and 2022 Bentley Batur (there are 2x in the mix), the police 2018 Dodge Durango is also included. But the rest of the box contains Moving Parts models (3 out of 4) from the Matchbox The Movie series. So, those collectors who did not buy them separately will be satisfied, others not so much due to duplicates.
