The continuation of the Red Edition series from last year, supplied exclusively to Target stores in the USA in every even wave of the mainline series. The Dodge Coronet Police was supposed to be released first, but due to production delays, and since the Holden UTE SSV with number 6/6 was already production-ready, it came out first in wave B. Logically, the already prepared Dodge Coronet 1/6 should have been released in the fourth wave D, but at the factory they started inserting the Mazda MX-5 Miata into the Target assortments by mistake. By the time the factory realized the error and began packing the Dodge Coronet instead, Target had already essentially completed orders for wave D, and the Dodge Coronet began to appear only in discount stores in Australia.

With the next even wave F, the factory forgot about its earlier mistake, and since the Mazda had already been planned, the Dodge Coronet was once again skipped, and more Mazdas appeared at Target in the USA. In addition to the release confusion, the Dodge Coronet and Mazda MX-5 Miata cards were misnumbered as 1/4 and 3/4, instead of the correct X/6.

Another model, the 2020 Honda E, also had incorrect numbering, released in wave H. Due to further distribution inconsistencies, the Honda was produced in smaller quantities than usual for the Red Edition, making it more difficult to find. The Coronet was also long considered a hard-to-find item, but at the beginning of December it finally reached Target distribution in large numbers. Before that, however, another Dodge had already been released — the Dodge Charger Pursuit with the correct numbering 5/6, commonly available in wave K.

The final piece of the six was supposed to be the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia. Once again, however, distribution problems arose, because Target did not order the last twelfth wave of 2024 and instead jumped directly to the first wave of 2025. And since Red Edition cars are only included in even-numbered waves, the release was ultimately canceled.
