The basic lineup for 2014 remains the same as in the previous two years, consisting of 120 models. However, quantity does not mean quality. First, not all of the planned models were released (#14 Crop Master, #70 Range Rover Evoque, and the recolor of #97 Dodge A100 Pickup). Second, the basic lineup includes only 45 licensed models, which is a weak 38% of the entire series. The lineup is divided into four groups – MBX Adventure City, MBX Construction, MBX Heroic Rescue, and MBX Explorers.
There are quite a few new castings, unfortunately, most of them are generic. The majority appear from #98 to #120. Interestingly, their MAN numbers are also arranged in descending order – from MAN904 to MAN926 – totaling 23 cars. Another 14 new castings are scattered throughout the entire lineup. In total, there are 37 new models.
Three of the new models have a recolor variant – #101 Blockade Buster, #102 Crime Crusher (the recolor was released only in the USA), and #117 Travel Tracker. A fourth model with a recolor variant is #35 International Scout 4x4.
The lineup also includes countless variations – among the most rarest is the chrome interior of the Cadillac CTS Coupe, which appeared only on the German market.
